Greg Zeuren has been the Area Sales Agronomist for South Waikato/Bay of Plenty since he started with PGG Wrightson Seeds in 2013. He has a keen interest in accountability and leadership roles which shows through in his current role as Health and Safety Coordinator for the sales team.

While not at work Greg believes in a good work life balance above and below sea level. He enjoys diving, fishing, hunting and generally just loves being in the outdoors!

Paul has been the Area Sales Agronomist for the Eastern North Island since 2015.

Paul grew up on a dairy farm and then went on to study a Bachelor of Applied Science in Agriculture at Massey. After graduating, Paul spent 6 years working in the maize industry with a focus on dairy and beef systems.

When Paul isn't at work he enjoys diving, fishing, skiing or being in the workshop building things.

Duncan has been the Areas Sales Agronomist for the Southern North Island since 2015. But he has been working in the agriculture industry in Taihape since 1999. His biggest passion within the industry is sheep and beef.

When not at work Duncan has a small farm that he looks after and enjoys spending time with his family.

Northern South Island Extension Agronomist Chris Sanders has been with PGG Wrightson Seeds since 2006.

In his diverse daily role (due to the variance in climate and farming systems within his region) Chris really enjoys the first hand contact that he has with a huge catchment of farmers while helping them get the most from their pasture and cropping endeavors. In addition, he has also been in the role of Maize Specialist, looking after the South Island Corson Maize Seed business, since 2010.

When not at work Chris remains involved with his family’s sheep and beef property, enjoys all things outdoors (such as hunting and fishing) along with spending time with his wife and two young sons.

Brian started working for PGG Wrightson Seeds in June 2014 as an Area Sales Agronomist servicing Southland and Otago. For 15 years previous to this he had been working as a rural supply company rep servicing Southland farmers with their farming inputs including seed. He enjoys the agronomic side to farming and enjoys getting on farm, putting plans in place and creating good outcomes for clients with their cropping and re-grassing programmes.

Brian lives in Gore with his partner and the youngest of his four children. He enjoys family time at weekends, especially taking his 67 Chev Impala for a run or spending time with grandson Cooper and poking around on his small farm where he runs breeding ewes and rears 4 day old calves .

Richard joined PGG Wrightson Seeds as Area Sales Agronomist in June 2019, after having spent 12 years as a rural retail representative in the Leeston and Darfield areas, and 4 years as a seed company representative servicing the central South Island

Richard enjoys the variety of farm types in the wider Canterbury region and the diversity of pasture renewal and forage crop options they require.

Outside of work, spare time is spent with family, fishing, hunting and jet boating.
 

Wayne is an Extension Agronomist and Nutritionist with PGG Wrightson Seeds.

After graduating from Lincoln University he completed a B. Agr. Sc. degree (Hons) looking at grazing management of Caucasian clover. In 1996 he joined Hodder and Tolley Research, employed as an Assistant Plant Breeder and Forage Agronomist. Following the sale of Hodder and Tolley to Wrightson Ltd he joined the team at Kimihia Research Centre as a Forage Agronomist. In 1999 Wayne moved to focus on animal nutrition and was responsible for animal nutrition activities conducted by Wrightson Seeds within New Zealand. During this period he completed a M. Agr. Sci (Dist), focusing on anti-nutritional factors of forage rape.

Subsequent to the merger of PGG and Wrightson in 2005, Wayne moved back to the area of his family sheep and beef farm in the heartland of Otago to follow his passion of working with numerous people and groups in the area of forage based systems across New Zealand and support the company’s activities in Australia and Chile, South America. He is involved with a number of industry working groups and large scale farming operations, and is often utilised to provide technical input, training and product development support across various pasture based systems including forage crops.

Ethan started working for PGG Wrightson Seeds in November 2015 as the South Island Forage Agronomist.  Prior to this Ethan was at Lincoln University for four years completing a Bachelor of Agricultural Science. 

Ethan is originally off a sheep farm where he had many different jobs on a variety of different farming systems. He has a passion for understanding farm systems and improving efficiency through the use of forages and crops. Ethan can do this through his job via trialing a range of forages and crops under different environmental conditions to determine the most effective option.

When not at work Ethan’s hobbies include sport, hunting, and helping his parents on the farm.

Holly grew up in Wellington and then went on to do a Bachelor of Science with honours in agriculture at Massey University.

Following on from this Holly was a Science Intern for DairyNZ and AgResearch. Through this internship Holly work on six placements, giving her work experience with endophytes, pasture pests, forage germ plasm, the perennial ryegrass forage value index and dairy cow fertility. Holly says that the internship was a great opportunity for her to increase her skills within research and the agriculture industry. Holly is excited to continue using her education and experience here at PGG Wrightson Seeds.

In Holly’s free time she is a keen horse rider, riding both competitively and for fun. She also enjoys the outdoors through tramping and skiing.
