A high yielding bulb turnip suitable for summer, autumn and early winter feed.

Cleancrop™ Leafy Turnip
A fast-establishing, multi-graze variety with reduced flower bolting and 25% more total yield from multiple grazings than Pasja II leafy turnip. A flexible option for summer and autumn feed for all stock classes.

A high-yielding, multi-graze forage rape with very good leaf percentage and excellent crop ultilisation by stock.

Firefly kale
A high yielding, intermediate-height kale with a high leaf-to-stem ratio. Excellent crop utilisation by animals due to single plant selection for soft stems. Very good winter hardiness and excellent pest and disease tolerance.

Hawkestone swede
A high yielding, yellow-fleshed, main crop swede with medium maturity. Along with a similar dry rot and clubroot tolerance to Aparima Gold swede, Hawkestone also has a good tolerance to powdery mildew.

Kale
Kale is generally a spring sown, single graze option providing late autumn/winter feed between May and August. Kale can also be spring sown for a late-summer protein source when pasture quality is low.
Selecting a kale cultivar is a balance between dry matter (DM) yield and forage quality - leaf percentage and stem softness. Giant (tall) kale types provide bulk feed but lower quality and reduced crop utilisation, while short types provide a lower DM yield and higher quality. Intermediate types offer a balance between DM yield and quality.

Gruner
A high yielding, giant type kale with excellent winter hardiness and good Aphid tolerance. Gruner kale is an ideal option when dry matter yield is your priority.

A short height kale with high leaf percentage and soft, digestible stems that deliver an energy-dense, easy-to-graze feed. The ideal feed option when animal performance is your focus.

Forage rape
A summer/autumn/winter feed option suitable for all stock classes. Modern New Zealand bred cultivars are an interspecies cross between rape and kale parentage. Forage rape cultivars range in maturity dates from 70 to 110 days after sowing, while also having single or multi-graze options.
Goliath
Goliath® is a versatile, multi-graze rape that fits all farm systems. It performs strongly from spring/summer/autumn sowing, offering flexibility to deliver feed when you need it.

Titan
Titan® combines early maturity, high dry matter yields and excellent palatability to deliver a high quality summer/autumn/winter feed option. An ideal feed option when dry matter yield and rapid acceptance by stock is important to you.

Turnip
Bulb turnips offer an ideal summer feed for milk production or young stock (e.g. Barkant® or Cleancrop™ Toto turnip) or a summer/autumn/winter feed for stock (e.g. Green Globe or Cleancrop™ bulb turnip ).
While leafy turnip cultivars (e.g. Pasja II forage brassica and Cleancrop™ leafy turnip) are a multi-graze option that can offer up to four summer grazings. Early maturing with the first grazing possible from 42 to 70 days after sowing. Less requirement for ripening than rapes.
Barkant
Barkant® bulb turnip is the highest yielding summer bulb turnip available in New Zealand. A high quality feed with a high metabolisable energy (ME) value to achieve greater animal performance.
